With the aim of promoting the introduction of Japanese literature in Vietnam in order to enhance mutual understanding between the two countries, and at the same time, contribute to helping Vietnamese readers approach and appreciate one of the great literatures in the world, at the end of February, 2022, the Interdisciplinary Institute for Culture, Language and Education Development (CLEF) released the book "Japanese Literature and the Aquisition of Japanese Literature in Vietnam" published by Vietnam National University Press, Hanoi.
The book includes 10 monographs on Japanese literature and the Aquisition of Japanese literature in Vietnam. The authors of the article are researchers, writers, translators, diplomats or lecturers who teach Japanese literature at universities. The review committee for the article is Senior experts from the Research Institute for Language, Culture and Education Development, especially with the participation of Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngo Minh Thuy, Director of the Institute for Culture, Language and Education Development (CLEF), former Vice President of the University of Foreign Languages - Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
The authors bring us different perspectives on Japanese literature, some literary works and information regarding important milestones in the flow of Japanese literature and teaching and aquisition Japanese literature in Vietnam.
The book is published under the sponsorship of The Japan Foundation.
The book is not only a valuable reference, but can also be used as a very good supplementary textbook for Japanese Literature in Japanese language departments at Universities.
After its publication, CLEF Institute presented nearly 300 books to Japanese language education agencies in Vietnam, with the hope and expectation of contributing to increasing the interest and love of Vietnamese people for the Japanese unique literature.
