CLEF Joins Cultural Experience Booth at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Japanese International School

On March 7, 2026, CLEF Institute joins cultural experience booth at the 10th anniversary celebration of the Japanese International School.

In the warm and celebratory atmosphere of the JIS 10th anniversary event, CLEF participated with a Japanese cultural experience booth, offering a variety of engaging activities for students, parents, and guests.
At the event, CLEF’s booth featured two main areas: a book display and a Japanese cultural experience zone. This provided an opportunity for CLEF to introduce its research publications, learning materials, and cultural exchange activities.

The display of books and publications about Japan attracted strong interest from students, parents, and visitors, helping to promote a deeper appreciation of Japanese language and culture.

In addition to the book display, CLEF’s booth also offered interactive games and cultural activities, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere for participants.These activities brought joy and laughter while helping participants gain a better
understanding of unique aspects of Japanese culture:

Kendama – a traditional Japanese game that requires skill and concentration
Fukuwarai – a fun face-assembling game often played during the Japanese New Year
Yukata try-on experience – wearing the traditional Japanese summer garment was one of the most popular activities. It gave participants the chance to learn about traditional attire while capturing memorable moments at the event.

CLEF’s participation in the 10th anniversary celebration of the Japanese International School not only enriched the event’s program but also reflected its mission of connecting, researching, and promoting cultural, linguistic, and educational values.
Through this experience booth, CLEF aims to further promote Vietnam–Japan cultural exchange and create more opportunities for students, young people, and Japan enthusiasts to access and experience Japanese culture in a vivid and engaging way.

On June 8, 2026, as part of the preparations for the Japan–ASEAN Symposium on Education (JASE), CLEF held a working meeting with the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS–VNU) and the Vietnam Association of Japan Alumni (VAJA) to discuss and finalize coordination plans for the International Conference on Education, Language, Culture, and Japanese Studies, scheduled to take place on June 25, 2026.

On May 26, 2026, a representative of the CLEF attended the 2025–2026 Academic Year Closing Ceremony organized by Everest Primary, Secondary and High School. The event provided an opportunity for the school, together with its teachers, students, and parents, to reflect on a year marked by dedication, learning, and personal growth.

CLEF Showcases Japanese Culture at Everest International Exhibition 2026

On May 15, 2026, Everest Education System organized the Everest International Cultural Exhibition 2026, an event marking the conclusion of the International Cultural Week under the theme “Connecting Cultures – Nurturing the Future.” On this occasion, CLEF supported the school in preparing and operating the Japan booth, directly introducing distinctive aspects of Japanese culture to students and numerous visitors.

On March 26, 2026, CLEF Institute held a working session with the Head of the Faculty of Japanese Language at Hanoi University of Industry to discuss potential collaboration in Japanese language education and human resource development.
