CLEF Showcases Japanese Culture at Everest International Exhibition 2026

On May 15, 2026, Everest Education System organized the Everest International Cultural Exhibition 2026, an event marking the conclusion of the International Cultural Week under the theme “Connecting Cultures – Nurturing the Future.” On this occasion, CLEF supported the school in preparing and operating the Japan booth, directly introducing distinctive aspects of Japanese culture to students and numerous visitors.

Representing CLEF at the exhibition were Dr. Ngo Tu Lap, Chairman of the Scientific Council, along with the institute’s staff. The event provided an opportunity for CLEF representatives to interact with students, parents, and international guests, while also sharing insights into the beauty and depth of Japanese culture at the exhibition booth.

This year’s exhibition was also attended by H.E. Shovgi Mehdizade, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Vietnam, together with many international guests and cultural and educational organizations, creating a meaningful atmosphere of global connection and exchange.

CLEF’s participation in the event reflects its close and ongoing cooperation with Everest Education System. CLEF currently operates a Japanese Language Club at the school, where students not only learn the language but also explore Japanese culture, history, and ways of thinking through creative and hands-on activities.

In addition, CLEF has organized various Japanese cultural experience programs specifically for Everest students, ranging from traditional games and Yukata experiences to exchange activities with Japanese people living in Vietnam. These activities help students develop a more authentic and comprehensive understanding of Japan from an early stage of their education.

CLEF hopes that these contributions will inspire Everest students, the future global citizens of Vietnam, to develop a love for the Japanese language and a deeper appreciation of Japanese culture.

CLEF Partners with ULIS and VAJA to Prepare for the 4th JASE International Conference

On June 8, 2026, as part of the preparations for the Japan–ASEAN Symposium on Education (JASE), CLEF held a working meeting with the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS–VNU) and the Vietnam Association of Japan Alumni (VAJA) to discuss and finalize coordination plans for the International Conference on Education, Language, Culture, and Japanese Studies, scheduled to take place on June 25, 2026.

On May 26, 2026, a representative of the CLEF attended the 2025–2026 Academic Year Closing Ceremony organized by Everest Primary, Secondary and High School. The event provided an opportunity for the school, together with its teachers, students, and parents, to reflect on a year marked by dedication, learning, and personal growth.
