The monograph is titled "A Guide to Japanese Idioms and Idiomatic Expressions", authored by Ngô Minh Thủy, Director of CLEF Institute and former Vice Principal of University of Languages and International Studies who conducted a comprehensive survey of Japanese idioms. The study delved into the structural, semantic, and national mindset reflected in these idiomatic expressions, offering readers valuable insights into the Japanese language and culture. In addition, the monograph compared Japanese idioms with equivalent Vietnamese idioms to highlight both the similarities and differences as well as unique characteristics of Japanese idioms only discovered through comparison.

In the context of the increasing need of teaching, learning and using Japanese in Vietnam, on the first days of March 2022, CLEF Institude and two authors, Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy and Aikawa Haruki were delighted to release the book “Training Japanese- Vietnamese translation skills” published by Vietnam National University Press of Hanoi.
