Scientific conference “Teaching and learning Japanese in a multilingual environment: current situation and development directions in Vietnam”

On December 13, 2025, CLEF Institute, in coordination with the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi, successfully organized the scientific conference “Teaching and learning Japanese in a multilingual environment: current situation and development directions in Vietnam”.

In the morning of May 14, 2022, the Interdisciplinary institute for culture, language and education fostering (CLEF) accompanied with Nguyen Binh Khiem High School (under Nguyen Binh Khiem Education System) and 19 participating enterprises on “Career counseling and enrollment day” at the school campus at No. 6 Tran Quoc Hoan, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.

Digital transformation is considered an inevitable trend in the 4.0 technology era. However, due to the impact of the COVID pandemic, this trend is growing stronger than ever around the world and in all aspects of social life. One of the areas that reveals most clearly is education, when both the teaching of teachers and the learning of students are heavily dependent on digital technologies.

JAPANESE LITERUTURE IN VIETNAM: PRACTICE AND DEVELOPMENT EXPECTATIONS VIEWED FROM THE CONFERENCE “JAPANESE LITERATURE AND THE ACQUISITION OF JAPANESE LITERATURE IN VIETNAM”

On August 18, 2021, The Interdisciplinary Institute for Culture, Language and Education Fostering (CLEF) organized a seminar: "Japanese literature and the acquisition of Japanese literature in Vietnam", with the sponsorship of The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (under The Japan Foundation - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan), the companionship of the International Francophone Institute - Vietnam National University, Hanoi (IFI), Viet International Culture and Education Development Company. Due to the impact of the Covid pandemic, the conference took place online on the Zoom platform, but still gathered the interest of nearly 90 attendees including experts on Japanese culture, literature, language, lecturers and students of several universities in Hanoi.

Workshop on Japanese Literature – the anticipated August event!

On August 18, 2021, the seminar "Japanese literature and the acquisition of Japanese literature in Vietnam" will be held by the Interdisciplinary institute for culture, language and education fostering (CLEF) and sponsored by the Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam (the Japan Foundation) in collaboration with 2 companion units, IFI (International Francophone Institute - Hanoi National University) and Viet International Culture and Education Development Company. Due to the influence of the Covid pandemic, the seminar will be held in an online form on the Zoom platform, but the conference is expected to gather the attention of experts in culture, literature, language and Japanese language as well as attracting the attention of people who love the country and people of Japan.

CLEF strengthens cooperation in research and startup support

With the aim of strengthening support and connecting Vietnamese startup ecosystem, on April 14, 2021, CLEF Institute attended a meeting between the leaders of the Market Department and Science and Technology Enterprises - Ministry of Science and Technology. , the leader of the Management Board of Hoa Lac High Tech Park (HHTP) and a number of start-ups at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park built in Thach That district, Hanoi. After that, CLEF and the National Startup Support Center (NSSC) had a working session and the two sides signed a cooperation agreement on May 6, 2021.

On March 31, 2021, Interdisciplinary Institute of Culture, Language and Education Fostering (CLEF) organized a seminar “Rationalism and French thinking characteristics”, with the companionship of the International francophone Institute-Vietnam, National University of Hanoi (IFI) and Vietnam International Education and Cultural Development company (QTV). This is the opening event for a series of seminars and workshops scheduled to be held in 2021 by the Institute.
