On December 13, 2025, immediately following the academic workshop “Teaching and Learning Japanese in a Multilingual Environment: Current Situations and Development Directions in Vietnam,” CLEF Institute, in collaboration with the University of Languages and International Studies - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, successfully held the Final Round and Award Ceremony of the Japanese Singing Contest for Students at Vũ Đình Liên Hall. The event created a vibrant and emotionally rich artistic space, bringing together young voices passionate about the Japanese language from various educational institutions across the country.
The organizing committee cordially invites all those who love the French language and culture, as well as those interested in the Francophone community (La Francophonie), to attend two special events organized by CLEF in collaboration with the Department of French Language and Culture at the University of Languages and International Studies-VNU, and the Viet Nam - France Friendship and Cooperation Association (AACVF) on April 26, 2025.
Following resounding success of the inaugural Vietnam-Japan Folk Song Festival, held in October 2023 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Japan, the "2nd Vietnam-Japan Folk Song Festival" was successfully organized on December 14, 2024. This event was a collaborative effort by CLEF, Vietnam-Japan University at VNU, and several other agencies.
On the afternoon of December 14, 2024, the seminar "Translation and Interpretation of Vietnamese-Japanese Lyrics" will be jointly organized by CLEF and Vietnam Japan University. The event will feature two Japanese speakers, Terasaki Katsushi and Shine Toshihiko, along with Dr. Ngo Tu Lap (researcher, writer, musician, and translator) and other experts.
