Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming increasingly widely used in work, education, and everyday life. To help learners effectively engage with and make use of new technologies, CLEF previously successfully organized the professional development program “Practical Skills in Applying Artificial Intelligence (AI).” Continuing this initiative, AI has now entered another space at CLEF — the world of music and creativity.

On the evening of June 26, 2026, the Vietnam Association of Japan Alumni (VAJA) held a ceremony at the National Convention Center in Hanoi to celebrate its 25th anniversary (2001–2026).

On June 25, 2026, the 4th Japan–ASEAN International Symposium on Education 2026 (JASE 4) was successfully held at the University of Languages and International Studies – Vietnam National University, Hanoi (ULIS–VNU) under the theme "Educational Cooperation between Japan and ASEAN in the New Global Context."

On June 8, 2026, as part of the preparations for the Japan–ASEAN Symposium on Education (JASE), CLEF held a working meeting with the University of Languages and International Studies (ULIS–VNU) and the Vietnam Association of Japan Alumni (VAJA) to discuss and finalize coordination plans for the International Conference on Education, Language, Culture, and Japanese Studies, scheduled to take place on June 25, 2026.
